2010 Board & Officer Nominations

NCSEA Seeks 2010 Board of Director & Officer Nominations!

Director Nomination Packet

Officer Nomination Packet

Deadline for receipt of nominations is April 15, 2010.

Now, more than ever in its history, NCSEA needs strong leadership.  The officers and Board of Directors of NCSEA are working hard to continue the organization's leadership within the child support community and to expand and improve its services to members like you.

If you'd like to work with the Board and its officers in this exciting and challenging time - or know someone who would - nominations are now being sought.
  • NCSEA officers are elected by the Board at its spring meeting, which is planned for May 2010.  Nominations are being solicited for President-elect, Vice President of International Reciprocity, Secretary, and Treasurer.
  • In addition to the officers, there are five (5) positions open on the Board of Directors.  These openings will be filled by an online election held in June 2010.  Members in good standing will be eligible to vote for the Directors.  Each Director serves for a three-year term but may not serve for more than seven consecutive years.
The NCSEA Nominations Committee shall make a report to the Board at its May meeting.  The Nominations Committee is charged with recruiting and selecting nominees by considering the geographic areas, including membership in those areas, and the professional disciplines represented by the nominees.

All officers and Board members must hold active (individual) membership during their tenure.  The important work of the Board requires a commitment of time for meetings and Committee work, as well as travel to Board meetings.  For this reason, the Nominations Committee asks that each nomination include a statement of support from the nominee's supervisor.

If you are interested in work that is important and challenging, with a group that is hard working as well as fun, then NCSEA needs you!
